PORNAGRAPHY VS. HEALING EROTICA
Many like myself have resorted to pornography to educate ourselves about sex. Whether we are consuming pornography consciously or unconsciously, we are getting the negative downloads that went into its creation (objectification, exploitation, profiteering, and human trafficking to name a few). These downloads have a deep effect in our development and interpersonal relationships.
Cosmic Touch is not pornography. It is not created from a place of taking or abuse. It is not designed to be viewed in secret or to perpetuate dishonesty. As a filmmaker who has healed from producing this film, I can vouch that what you are watching is pure, created out of gratitude and integrity, and motivated by love and healing. This film is a gift to be received just as you are, without shame.
If you experience feelings of guilt, or desire, or anger, or anything — do not disassociate from it. Feel deeper into these emotions. Lean into it. Investigate why they are there. Do not hide from your arousal. The arousal is your medicine. Do not ignore your sexual wound. It is your doorway to heal.
When the energy behind erotic content is holy — created with integrity, prayer, and consent — the emotions of shame and guilt that are triggered are not from the content. It is from you. By identifying what is clearly yours, to feel that inner-knowing in your body for the first time, half of your work is done. From this point on, it will be easier to distinguish which emotions are from your trauma and which emotions are simply projecting, looking for someone else or something else to blame.
